New Works - Encaustics

I have been going back to my encaustic work. Encaustic actually means, "burning in." Basically it is using pigments that are suspended in wax. I like to mix my oil paints with the beeswax. it gives them an ethereal quality. Most of these paintings are small (12" x 12") or smaller
